Greetings everyone… Matt Fugitive here to give you probably the biggest, and most enjoyable update ever to come out of ESS HQ.

First off…AS OF LAST WEEK: Mattimus has officially changed his show name to Crentist D.D.S. This was as to prevent confusion between the two Matt’s “Matt Fugitive/Mattimus”.

We will be having an ALL ESS STAFF meeting this coming Tuesday (3/3/09) @ 5pm PST/8pm EST.  We’ll be discussing some show formatting “yes we’re still trying to find a place in the world for the show” as well as testing our new mixer board and other software I have found including a new SoundFX Machine.

Also the meeting will be to get the new hosts and current hosts together and make sure we have chemistry.

Yes I’m getting to the “NEW HOST” part right now…
Despite the rumors.. WE DID NOT RESTAFF!!!  Mattimus and Andy are still on the air with me.  I wouldn’t give up those guys for anything.  But we do have three more peeps that will be live with us every other Tuesday.

First Kate and Brian have decide to join the ranks.

Kate is studying to be a photojournalist in college but has a taste for broadcasting.. she asked if she could be a part of the show… we said ok.  She’ll be sitting in with Mattimus at his broadcast studio for the shows.

Brian… well you remember Brian.  He haunts the chat rooms every time we broadcast and badgers us to hell and back.. and usually corrects us.  We feel that badgering is similar to the act of actually boinking a live badger.. hence equivalates to being badass… we HAD to have him.

And.. umm.. oh yeah there’s one more person…

The next show will be a homecoming folks.  It is my GREAT PLEASURE to welcome back to the Everything Sux Show, after being on hiatus for almost 7 years FROST!!
That’s right all you ESS veterans…  Frost; the sheep loving, pile driving, fuck’em all persona that played my equal through over 30 episodes of the show back in the day.. will be coming home to the Everything Sux Show on our next episode…..

..which will be on March 10th.  If fact I’ll have a full schedule up within the next week or so that shows the entire episodic line of ESS up until June.  As of right now, that line will be every other Tuesday.  Due to the unstabilization of everyone’s schedule, this may change… rest assured we will try to notify everyone in a timely manner when this does happen.

BUt untill than folks…. mark your calenders…

March 10th @ 5pm PST / 8pm EST: The BIGGEST, BESTEST EVERYTHING SUX SHOW EVER!  The Return of Frost, introduction of Kate and Brian, and many many other wonderful things in store for you.

Yes folks, I do appoligize for the disapeering act we pulled on everyone but we took a break for the remainder of 2008.

Rest assured we are all still here alive and well and will be back broadcasting soon.  We recently acquired brand new equipment and repaired the dead radio show computer.  A couple of changes have been made to the show and it’s format as follows:

No more religious talk: We pissed off way too many people with that and almost got booted off of Stickam.

2 Hour Shows: We’re droping our broadcast time to 2 hours instead of 3.

No more webcams: Sorry guys and gals but this is causing lag issues with Stickkam and our equipment… we may still show video durring the show for our live stickam listeners though and we also might keep our kickass intro video.  That has yet to be decided.

Bi-Weekly shows: Until we can find that magic that we once had with our older shows “pre 2007″, we will only be doing bi-weekly shows every other Tuesday with some exceptions “exceptions to be determined”.

Also I would like to make a public address while I have your attention. Based on public inquery I would like to state the following: The Everything Sux Show is sort of a variety show and most of the stuff we do is improv or on a whim.   After serious discussion with Andy Drainz, he has assured me that his Anti-Semi discussions have been nothing but a show and was staged as an attempt to generate raitings.  Andy was trying to go for the shock value and it didn’t work out too well.  We at The Everything Sux Show and Fourside Media would like to appoligize for anything offensive Andy might have said.  Andy Drainz is an important member of the show and as such he is still on our host roster.  We will not be letting him go anytime soon.  It was just an act and he appoligized.

Also at this time I wouldlike to officially announce the hiring of our new voice over talent: Matt Nelson.

Matt Nelson has massive experence doing voice over as well as graphics design.  I asked Matt N. if he would do us the favor and do some liners for us.  I am proud to say he has come through and I hear by welcome him to our wonderful online family.  You can find links to Matt Nelsons various projects in his bio on our “Meet The Crew” section of our website.

Tonight… for the first time in 8 long months, ESS returned to the net in a BIG way… here’s the lastest shows breakdown and what you may have missed:

The crew began testing new technology called Stickam.  It did OK at first.  The hosts caught a 5 second lag in between converstation and in radio, even a meer 2 seconds of silence is death for a show.  EVentually the show hosts migrated the voice element back to Skype, leaving Matt Fugitive alone with the webcam.

The show disconnected about 7:00pm PST for unknown reasons.. either a failure on Stickam’s part or a failure on the stations part was to blame.To as fuel to the fire, Matt Fugitives headphones broke.  They we’re repaired with Duct Tape.

The show reconnected about 7:30pm PST and it wass all fun and games till about 8:30pm.  No pre-emptive topics we’re discussed.

That’s all for now folks… we decided to do another test show NEXT WEEK.  We’re still looking at dates for the next show… but we will have another one next week.  So far, other than the interruption of service we experienced… it’s starting to look like ESS’s new home might be Stickam.

Oh and expect an actual ESS set to be constructed at our new studio location… Matt Fugitive’s bedroom.

Hey everyone Matt Fugitive here.

Just to give you an update, we are NOT DEAD!!!  We’re all still here and well.

We we’re going to do a temp show but due to unforseen circumstances we lost all our data with the exception of the Theme song.

We are curently rebuilding our library of fun and are also looking for new voice over talent.  We have someone lined up and I hope they work out!

Anyways our equipment is setup and we’re almost ready to roll, I will keep you posted on any new happenings in teh ESS camp.

So I’m sitting here next to the Starbucks at OCC wondering how many people checked out our website.  I had the idea of posting a show flyer up on the RailsConf Message Board.  If your checking out the site… welcome.

Greetings my fellow rats!  This is your old buddy Matt Fugitive here letting you in on some important information…

Well as you know we have been on vacation for sometime and I thank you all for your paitenence.  I recently became a father and have been working on getting back into the swing of things well with school and all you know.

In two weeks, we will be switching servers.  That’s right!  We now have a new server so I will be working on moving the ESS Blog to our new home.. and we also have a new URL.  so update your links cuz our new URL is:

YAY!!!  We have a domain name!

Also we will be back in the summer once my work schedule works itself out and we will be switching our live broadcast days to Friday nights at 5pm pst.  The show will.. at this time.. remain 3 ours long live, but what you get live will not be what you get in the podcast.  The podcast will be cut down to 2 1hr files so you will loose an hour.

Ok well that’s it.. see you all at our new home and I’ll see you all in the Summer.

Greetings my fellow listeners and the like.

As you know we we’re planning another test broadcast this week. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the show has been put on hold temporarily. This gives us enough time to test new software, try other means of streaming, work on the theme of the show and so on.

But, the real reason that we are putting the show on hold, is that at 9:06pm on March 16th, I, Matt Fugitive became a father. My son, net dubbed Tristan Fugitive, will need daddy and mommy Fugitive by his side for the next few weeks as to allow for ample bonding time and so on.

So with that being said, the shows on hold and I hope that my son will be in everyones prayers. This is going to be a long ass ride folks. Thanks for hanging in there with me.

Hey everyone, Matt Fugitive here with a breakdown of last nights show.

The show started with our listeners getting “Rick Rolled” by the ESS hosts and then while waiting for Mattimus to show up, the announcement of the shows name change was put out and got a decent response from our listeners in the chat room.

The show progressed really slowly through the first half. Due to Matt Fugitive’s Itinerary.

After the break the listeners we’re treated to the destruction of Matt Fugitive’s Itinerary and the show picked up from there.

Lesson learned this episode:
Itinerary = Epic FAIL!!!

Due to Skype giving us a hard time, expect episode 0.5.5 in the next two weeks for one more test show. This show will be PASS or FAIL.
